CREATE SEQUENCE .. AS

In order to specify a sequence data type explicitly, the optional AS
clause can be used. The typical default in the absence of AS
is BIGINT
, although it may be dialect specific.
Dialect support
This example using jOOQ:
createSequence("s").as(SMALLINT)
Translates to the following dialect specific expressions:
Aurora Postgres, CockroachDB, DB2, H2, HSQLDB, Postgres, YugabyteDB
