LTRIM (binary)

The LTRIM()
function trims specified bytes from a binary string from the left end. See also RTRIM (binary) and TRIM (binary).
SELECT ltrim(cast(' hello ' as bytea), cast(' ' as bytea));
create.select(binaryLtrim(" hello ".getBytes(), " ".getBytes())).fetch();
The result being
+---------+ | ltrim | +---------+ | hello | +---------+
