This type is used for the Select's DSL API when selecting generic Record types.

Example:

 -- get all authors' first and last names, and the number

SelectOrderByStep<R> window(WindowDefinition... definitions)

Add a WINDOW clause to the statement.

Use the WINDOW clause to specify window definitions for reuse among several window functions.

Only SQLDialect.POSTGRES and SQLDialect.SYBASE are known to support the SQL standard WINDOW clause, but you can still use this clause in all other databases supporting window functions. jOOQ will inline window definitions where they are referenced.
